The poem we read on the life on a farm in December was interesting because it was a little hard to follow for me. Maybe I just didnt take the time on it but i couldnt really fill out that worksheet we had to do. It was a well written poem though. The metaphors and similes in the poem were interesting, like the throat of the chimney chuckled. You can tell its a romantic poem by the nature theme.

Arthur Miller was an American playwright that did most of his work after World War II. He was very successful in his work and had some of his plays turned into movies. He was married to Marilyn Monroe for a time which helped him gain recognition. Which he really didn't need because he was already famous by that point. Most of his stories kind of gave an idea to what his personal weaknesses were. It is surprising that Arthur Miller got into writing because his dad was illiterate. It's just an odd combination. Arthur was born and raised in Harlem, New York City. He wasn't, or at least didn't seem smart as a child. He was more into sports at the time. Arthur , after graduating high school, went into the auto parts industry, and sold auto parts to save money to go to college. When he went to college he decided that he would go into the field of literature, more specifically, writing plays.

As i look up into the sky I see the glorious stars that have been shining for millions or years. Bright they shine to this day. The wonders of God will never cease to amaze those who proceed to exist in this small wondrous world.
