For the blog of who's side we would choose, Poe or Irving, I think I would have to go with Poe. This may be because I know more about Poe than Irving, but I think it has more to do with how I like their stories. I really enjoyed reading the Pit and the Pendulum, I like the storyline of the Raven, and a few other poems, or short stories by Poe. Irving, to be honest, really didnt have any poems or stories that stuck out to me, or stuck with me for that matter. I find Poe more interesting, maybe because he was on the verge of insane.
